A mission with a motive 

MaskOn is a nonprofit organization striving to promote healthy habits and compassion around the community. In the midst of the global pandemic known as COVID-19, our mission is to give back and support our local schools and nearby communities in the greater Orlando area. Our goal is to emphasize the importance of wearing face masks to reduce the spread of COVID-19, not only in terms of health but also for the general respect and kindness for others. 

 

With the new school year fast approaching this fall, our first project seeks to provide “wellness kits” for classrooms that would include essentials such as hand sanitizer, antibacterial wipes, and disposable face masks (should a student lose or forget theirs for the day). Keeping students safe is the educator’s first priority, so we thought to provide them with a little something for their peace of mind. Like all things however, this will require funding and we are happy to direct you to any ways that you can support this cause, such as our GoFundMe page. 

 

In addition to raising awareness about the importance of face coverings to prevent the spread of the virus, we also want to encourage sustainability and preventative health education for the youth to develop healthy habits they can carry with them for the future.
